Every June, close to 130 bowlers and bowling fans gather in the Mile High City for the annual Denver International Gay and Lesbian Invitational Tournament (DIGLIT). 2017 was no different.
From June 23-25, DIGLIT hosted its 21st annual tournament, bringing 128 bowlers from 13 states together for a weekend full of fun and friendships—all while promoting Unity, Communication and Fellowship. Thank you for spending your weekend with us, and we look forward to seeing you again.
DIGLIT is a proud member of the International Gay Bowling Organization (IGBO). IGBO is the world’s largest LGBT sports association with more than 170 member leagues and more than 60 member tournaments.
Denver (and vicinity suburbs) is home to four I.G.B.O.-affiliated bowling leagues: Front Range Sunday Night Rollers (Sunday); Merry Mixers (Wednesday); Thursday Nite 4 Play (Thursday); and Friday Night Mixed (Friday). New for 2018…
Denver will not be hosting its annual DIGLIT tournament for a good reason. Denver will instead host the IGBO Annual 2018 Tournament over Memorial Day weekend. Denver has hosted two IGBO annual tournaments in the past—the first in 2000 and the second in 2007. Click here for more information about IGBO Annual 2018.
DIGLIT will resume in 2019.
